Method 1: Via Microsoft Phone Link
Formerly known as Your Phone, Phone Link by Microsoft facilitates connection between a Windows 11/10 PC and an Android device over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Note: Make sure your phone and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network or via Bluetooth.
- Open the Phone link application on your PC and then select the device type you are pairing the app with, let’s say Android .

Download and install the Link to Windows app on your phone from the Google Play Store.
Either Sign in manually or scan the QR code on the new window to link your phone to your Microsoft account.
If you have scanned the QR code, enter the 6-character code shown on your PC on the phone and tap on Continue .
Follow the on-screen instructions to Sign in to your Microsoft account.
Once signed in and linked, click on Get Started on the Phone Link app on your Windows PC.
In the Settings , turn on the toggle for Photos .

- Wait for some time for all the photos to be synced. Once done, click on the photo you want to transfer to your PC, click on Save as at the top right, and save it on your PC.
Method 2: Via Bluetooth
Bluetooth is another convenient way to transfer photos from your phone to your laptop wirelessly.
However, we recommend you only use Bluetooth when you want to transfer smaller files as transferring large photo albums can be time-consuming.
Activate Bluetooth on your phone as well as on your PC as well as on your phone.
Pair both devices and once successfully paired, select the targeted photo or file on your phone.
Tap on the share icon , select Bluetooth , and then select your PC to start the exchange of files.
After receiving the files, ensure to save them on your PC.
Download Quick Share for Windows on your Windows PC.
Once downloaded, open it, and sign in with your Google account .
Select your device name under Visible to others as , then under Receiving , select who can share data with you, and click on Done .
Open Gallery on your Android phone, select the photo you want to transfer, tap on the share icon , and select Quick Share .

How to Connect YourPhone to a Wireless Printerand Print Using It
Most schools and offices have been operating online, especially in the past few years. Hence, there has been a hike in the search for worthy gadgets for students and employees . Amongst others are Wireless printers that give you the freedom to print from any corner of a pre-defined area. As our reliance on phones is increasing day by day, it just becomes easier when both devices are connected and offer a ready-to-print setup.
Note 1: Since smartphones don’t have the same Settings options, they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Hence, ensure the correct settings before changing any on your device. The steps were performed on the Samsung S20 FE 5G , as shown in the illustrations below.
Note 2: Make sure the printer is set up beforehand and is connected to the same network as your phone.
Follow the steps below:
Open Settings on your phone and tap on Connections .
Tap on More connection settings , followed by Printing .

You will see all the compatible printers on the network.

Now if your phone is unable to detect the printer, there are other ways to connect both.
Method 1: Download Plugin
You can download the companion app for your wireless printer easily on your Android phone to print from it. Follow the steps below:
Follow the path: Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Printing .
Tap on the Download plugin option.

You’ll see a list of companion apps for printers from almost all major brands.

Tap on your printer’s brand app and Install it from the Google Play Store .
Once installed, go back, tap on the plugin, and when the wireless printer is detected, connect the device to it.
Method 2: Connect via Wi-Fi
Wireless printers support Wi-Fi connection as well. In case the manufacturer has not released a plugin for your printer, you can also manually connect your phone to it via Wi-Fi direct service.
Navigate the path: Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Printing .
Toggle on Default Print Service and tap on it.
Tap the three dots icon at the top-right corner and select Add printer .

You can now select and connect your phone to the printer, once detected.
Method 3: Connect via IP Address
Another way to connect the printer to your mobile is through its IP address. However, it might be a little complex as you would need to find the printer’s IP address and the steps may vary depending on the router service you are connected to. Once you find the IP address of the printer, follow the steps below:

Method 4: Connect via Bluetooth
Some wireless printers also support Bluetooth connectivity, which helps you print when there are issues with the Wi-Fi connection or weaker internet connectivity. Follow the steps:
Turn on the printer’s Bluetooth.
Now, open Settings on your phone, tap on Connections and toggle on Bluetooth .

How to Print from Phone Through Wireless Printer
So, now that your smartphone is connected to the printer successfully, it’s time to print files. You can follow the same steps for all wireless printers. Similarly, you can print files directly from Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and many more apps. We are choosing Google Docs here.
Open Google Docs and then the file you want to print.
Tap the three dots icon at the top right corner and select Share and export from the context menu.

In the drop-down menu, you can adjust the Colour , Paper size , Orientaion , and other settings as required.
Expand the Select a printer drop-down menu and tap on All printers…

How to Print from Phone Through HP Wireless Printer Using HP Smart App
You can also use the HP Smart app . Not only does the app make it easy for you to print files and photos, but you can also use it as a document scanner app , manage your instant ink supplies, set shortcuts, and many more.
Open the HP Smart app.
Tap on Print Documents or Print Photos as preferred.

Select PDFs or My Photos and then select the file you want to file you want to print.
On the Preview page, tap on Print .

How to Print from Android Phone to Wireless Printer Using Email
Many modern-day printers are coming up with a built-in feature where users can just send an email to their respective printer with the file that they want to print attached to it. After that, it will print the document automatically.
Note: Check if your printer has an email ID assigned to it.
Once you have found the email address of the printer, open the email client service, e.g., Gmail, and tap the Compose icon at the bottom-right corner.
In the To field, enter the printer’s email address.
Tap the attachment icon at the top, attach the document you want to print, and tap on the Send icon.
Once sent, the wireless printer will print your document.
