Method 1: On Chrome

Using the Chrome flags, you can turn the Chrome browser into dark mode. Here’s how:

  1. Open Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store .

  1. Search Dark Reader extension or search for any dark mode extension that you prefer. A list of extensions will appear on your screen.

  1. Click on Add to Chrome .

  1. To install the extension, click on Add extension .

  1. After the installation is complete, click on the extension displayed on the toolbar to enable the dark mode.

Method 2: On Firefox

Follow the below steps if you are using the Firefox browser, to activate the dark mode.

  1. Type Firefox in the Windows search bar and click on Open .

  2. Click on Menu options from the top-right corner.

  3. Locate and select Add-ons and themes .

  1. Click on Themes and click on Enable under dark mode.

Note : Since all Android devices vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, the steps below were performed on OnePlus Nord 5G.

  1. Open Settings on your Android.

  2. Go to About Device > Version .

  3. Tap on Build number 5-7 times consequently.

  1. Now, go back to Settings homepage and select System settings .

  2. Under System settings , tap on Developer options .

  1. Toggle on the Override force-dark option.

  1. Now, go back to the Settings homepage and tap on Display & brightness .

  2. Select Dark mode .

You will be able to enjoy dark mode on your phone.

Before following the steps below, disable the dark mode on your iPhone.

  1. Go to Settings .

  2. Select Accessibility .

  3. Tap on Display & Text Size .

  1. Turn on the toggle for Smart Invert .

If do not prefer to customize the system setting of Chrome browser, you can also install third-party extensions to enable the dark mode. You can also turn dark mode on or off at any time.
