How to Turn Off Getting Emails from Twitter
Other than security-related emails to notify of login attempts & password changes, Twitter sends routine emails to its users to update them about their account activity. Such emails are to inform you about your new followers, likes, retweets, mentions, and even tweets from people you follow.
Option 1: Disable Emails from Twitter on PC
You can also put an end to receiving emails from Twitter using the desktop web version. Here’s what you need to do:
Open Twitter on any web browser.
On the left sidebar, click on More , expand the Settings and Support drop-down menu, and click on Settings and privacy .

Select Notifications from the menu, and then click on Preferences in the right pane.
Click on Email notifications .
Toggle off Email notifications .

You can even change your preferences here and select the categories for which you want to continue receiving emails and how often you want them.
Option 2: Disable Emails from Twitter on Android Device
Follow the steps below on the Twitter app for Android:
Open X (Twitter) , slide, and pull the bar from the left-hand side.
Tap on Settings & Support , and select Settings and privacy .
Tap on Notifications .

Tap on Preferences , followed by Email notifications .
Slide the toggle next to Email notifications to turn it off.

If you cannot access the Twitter app for some reason, there are other ways as well.
Method 1: Directly from Email
- Navigate to your email account, for example, Gmail, and open any email received from Twitter in the past.

You’ll be redirected to the Email notifications page on Twitter.
- Toggle off Email notifications .
Method 2: Block Twitter Email ID
Navigate to your email account and open any email from Twitter (X).
Click on the three-dots icon at the top-right corner of the mailbox and select Block “Twitter” from the context menu.
- Select Block in the pop-up to confirm.
Method 3: Use Third-Party Email Cleaner Apps
