There can be a lot of reasons why you cannot possibly switch profiles on Fire tablet. There may be a bug that is preventing your device from switching profiles.
Swipe down to the Notifications section.
Swipe down once again to open the menu tray and tap on the profile icon .
- Tap on the desired profile you want to switch. It will take a few seconds to complete the action.
The device/tablet will restart once the user is switched.

Tap on the Profile icon which stands for the profile section.
Tap on the specific adult profile that you want to switch.
Enter your PIN .
Note : If your tablet is being used by a kid too, you should use a PIN while working on the same tablet. The profile will automatically get switched if you do not have the PIN.
- Confirm your PIN to verify that it is you.
Your profile will be switched successfully.
How to Switch Profiles on Fire Tablet 10?
Note : Be aware that if the profile you are switching to is that of an adult you will have to enter the PIN twice as a security measure.
Step I: Add Child Profile
Head to the Settings menu.
Under Personal Settings, tap on Profiles & Family Library to see all the profiles listed under your default user account.
Tap on Add a child profile .
Enter the details of your child.
Then, tap on ADD PROFILE .
Step II: Switch to Child Profile
