Now you can put in several images and make a cute collage out of your Instagram story in just a few clicks.

Method 1: Via Layout

Instagram offers users a built-in layout tool that lets users create collages directly in the app. Here’s how you can use it:

  1. Open Instagram and tap on the home icon at the bottom ribbon.
  2. Tap on Your story at the top left corner.
  3. Select the camera icon .
  4. Tap on the layout icon from the left menu.
  5. Now, select Change grid and choose the layout of your choice.
  6. Tap on the camera icon to capture a real-time image on the layout.
  7. Swipe up to open gallery and select any images in your album.
  8. Tap on the tick icon after the layout is finished.
  9. Select Your story .

This way, you can make and create even a 3, 4, or 6 picture collage on your Instagram story.

Method 2: Via Manually Selecting Collage

If you wish to have more flexibility in your layouts, you can also manually overlay pictures in different shapes. Follow the steps to do the same:

  1. Open Instagram > home icon > Your story .
  2. Select an image or capture one in real-time.
  3. Now, swipe up to open the menu option.
  4. Select Photo .
  5. Tap on any picture of your choice.
  6. Tap on the picture and pinch in or out to choose your proportions.
  7. Tap again to get several shape options and keep tapping until you land on the desired shape.
  8. Slide in your image according to the shape and tap on Done .
  9. Then, hold the image and put it anywhere in your main story. Repeat the process for as many pictures as you need.
  10. Tap on Your story .
