  1. Open Instagram , navigate to the targeted post, and tap the three dots icon on its top-right corner.

  2. Select Turn off commenting from the menu.

Method 2: Via Instagram Settings

  1. Open Instagram , go to your profile page and tap the three lines icon at the top right corner.

  2. Tap on Settings and privacy , scroll down, and tap on Hidden Words .

  3. Tap on Manage custom words and phrases .

Method 2: Via Instagram Settings

  1. Follow the path: Settings and privacy > Hidden words > Manage custom words and phrases .

  2. Tap on the Tap to view your list option.

  3. Select the word you want to remove from being filtered, and then tap on the Delete icon next to it.

Well, stories on Instagram do not allow a feature to comment but to reply to the story via direct message. You can however turn this off. Follow the steps:

  1. In the Settings and privacy menu on Instagram , scroll down and tap on Messages and story replies.

  2. Tap on Story replies and select Don’t allow story replies.
