Method 1: Via Keyboard Shortcut for Print Screen

The quickest way to take a screenshot of your Windows 11 PC is by pressing the PrtSc or PrtScrn button simultaneously from your keyboard. A screenshot window will open and you can drag your mouse to select any area you will to capture.

Method 2: Via Windows + Print Screen Keys

You can also screenshot the entire screen and save it directly as an image. For this, press the Windows + PrtSc or Windows + Shift + S keys together.

Method 3: Via Alt + PrtSc Keys

You may not always want the entire screen as a screenshot, but only one program window. Press the Alt + PrtScn keys to only capture an active window and copy it to your clipboard.
